Tipperary manager Liam Kearns knows that his side will have to produce the goods once again against Armagh this weekend.

The sides meet in the qualifiers at Semple Stadium on Saturday evening and Tipperary go into the match on the back of an excellent performance against Cavan in the last round.

Nonetheless, they will need to produce a similar performance against Armagh if they are to progress to the last 12 , according to Kearns.

Tipp defeated Armagh in the league and Kearns told the Tipperary Star that the Orchard County could use that as motivation to gain revenge on Saturday.

"We have a huge task on our hands on Saturday because Armagh will come to Semple Stadium believing that they can beat us," said Kearns.

"They hammered us in a challenge game already this year and we beat them by a point in the league - the challenge game means nothing but the fact that we beat them already will give them plenty to be motivated about.

"Our hard work in advance of the Cavan game paid off and I have to say that the spirit shown by our lads was incredible. I was so proud of what they produced in the second half considering the calibre of players we are missing all the time - the leaders in our squad."
