After pulling the rug from under Galway's feet in Salthill, Roscommon have four representatives on our football team of the week...
1. David Clarke (Mayo)
Marked his 100th appearance in the Mayo jersey with an assured performance which included a fine save to deny Clare's Jamie Malone.
2. David Murray (Roscommon)
Murray and his defensive colleagues kept Galway's much vaunted attacking unit well under wraps in Pearse Stadium.
3. Shane Redmond (Carlow)
Redmond and his Carlow team-mates will be bracing themselves for the considerable challenge of taking on Monaghan in Round 3B.
4. Fintan Kelly (Monaghan)
Finished to the back of the Wexford net in the 10th minute and the Ulster side experienced little difficulty in overcoming the Wexford hurdle.
5. Aidan Forker (Armagh)
The experienced Orchard County defender led by example throughout their hard earned five point victory over Westmeath in Mullingar.
6. Robbie Kiely (Tipperary)
The Tipperary football bandwagon continues to roll on and Kiely helped himself to 1-1 as they overturned a six point half-time deficit against Cavan.
7. Conor Devaney (Roscommon)
Devaney's frequent forays into enemy territory yielded a superbly executed point near the end on top of two other successful efforts.
8. Michael Murphy (Donegal)
With their backs very much against the wall, Donegal's talisman came up trumps with a five point (three from play) return against Meath.
9. Enda Smith (Roscommon)
Was head and shoulders the top midfielder on display in Salthill and few could argue with his selection as 'man-of-the-match'.
10. Niall Kilroy (Roscommon)
One of many heroes in primrose and blue, Kilroy put in a serious shift for Kevin McStay's side.
11. Aidan O'Shea (Mayo)
Another top drawer display from the Breaffy man who put his shoulder to the wheel to help his side turn things around against the Banner County.
12. Ryan McHugh (Donegal)
Wore the number five jersey but, as per usual, most of his best moments, including a 60th minute goal, came in the opposition's half.
13. Paul Broderick (Carlow)
After his 1-6 haul against Leitrim, Carlow supporters will be hoping he can continue his rich vein of scoring form when they lock horns with the Farney County.
14. Conor Sweeney (Tipperary)
Dispatched his 56th minute penalty with aplomb and also raised five white flags via frees as the Premier County sent Cavan packing.
15. Patrick McBrearty (Donegal)
Extra-time appeared a distinct possibility in Pairc Tailteann before McBrearty clipped over what proved to be the winner in injury-time.
