Roscommon defender Niall McInerney is enduring a hectic schedule on and off the field at the moment.
Preparing for a Connacht SFC final against Galway this Sunday would take up the majority of players' every waking minute, but McInerney has the small matter of studying for his degree in medicine in UCD.
Despite all that's going on, the St Brigid's clubman is taking it all in his stride and he admitted to the Westmeath Independent that he is loving every minute of it.
"There's a challenge at times, and like anyone playing inter-county football, it's very time consuming. But I don't really know any different, I just go with it," said McInerney.
"I love playing for Roscommon, I've great passion for the county, and that blocks out the minor distractions, whether that be study or anything else.
"You give 100% to the college when you're there, you give 100 per cent when it's time to train or play and that's it really.
"It's definitely a massive time commitment but if you want to do something and you have the commitment to do it, you can do it. It's not impossible. If you like what you're doing, whether that's college or football, it's manageable."
