Longford forward Sean McCormack looks set to miss out on their All-Ireland SFC qualifier clash against Louth on Saturday.

The sides meet in Drogheda at 5pm with both teams in last chance saloon as they look to prolong their seasons.

However, it looks as if Longford will have to plan without McCormack who sustained an injury during a game with his club Killoe recently.

Longford don't have the best of records in Drogheda, but this is the first ever meeting between the sides in the qualifiers.

The winner of this clash will meet either Mayo; Clare; Meath or Kildare or Donegal or Tyrone.
