Joe Brolly is to spearhead Antrim footballer's Matthew Fitzpatrick's appeal against his 48-week suspension.
Fitzpatrick was hit with the lengthy ban after being found guilty of giving 'deliberately false evidence and deliberately [misleading] the hearing' earlier this month.
The suspension stems from an investigation into an incident from the Division 3 fixture against Armagh in March.
The Belfast Telegraph is reporting today that barrister Brolly has agreed to fight the St John's player's case.
Wouldn't it be great to be a fly on the wall when the RTE pundit and Fitzpatrick appear in front of the GAA's Central Appeals Committee!
