Corofin joint-captain Ciaran McGrath is adamant that the Galway champions will return to the All-Ireland club SFC series.

Last Saturday, they were outplayed by a slick Dr Crokes side that booked their placed in the All-Ireland final on St Patrick's Day.

Beaten by the better team was the general consensus in the Corofin dressingroom after the game, but already McGrath is looking to reach the same stage in a year's time.

Speaking to the Connacht Tribune, he feels that once the side regroups and focuses on the year ahead, it will be all systems go again.

"It is disappointing when you lose an All-Ireland semi-final, it is disappointing when you lose any game with your club," stressed McGrath.

"But we have to go away now and take a look at ourselves and see what we can do to make ourselves better to get back here in 12 months' time."
