Brian McGuigan has called time on his glittering playing career following his appointment as Ardboe senior football manager.

The former Tyrone playmaker admits he wouldn't feel comfortable with the idea of playing and managing his club team.

Son of the legendary Frank McGuigan, the 36-year-old announced his inter-county retirement in November 2011 after winning All-Ireland senior medals in 2003, '05 and '08 as well as an All-Ireland minor medal in 1998 and All-Ireland U21 medals in 2000 and '01.
