In a major change to the playing rules of gaelic football, 'The Mark' is set to come into effect on January 1st next.
The GAA has produced this video to show examples of the high catch which will now be rewarded with the option of (a) Taking a free kick or (b) Playing on immediately.

A free kick shall be awarded at the point at which the illegal challenge is made.
