Sponsor boost for hurling championship

The GAA has lined up Littlewoods Ireland as a new sponsor of the All-Ireland SHC.
The Irish Independent reports that the online department store will join the GAA's championship multi-sponsor model and an official announcement is imminent.
There is also speculation that Liberty Insurance and Etihad Airways will end their involvement so there could be an opening for more than one new sponsor for the Liam MacCarthy Cup competition.
AIB, Eir and Supervalu are expected to continue their sponsorship of the All-Ireland SFC.
