Seamus McEnaney hopes that either his Wexford side or Carlow will be afforded home advantage in next year's Leinster SFC quarter-final against Dublin.
The Leinster Council will meet tonight (Wednesday) to decide on the venues for next summer's provincial championships and McEnaney is hopeful that the victors from the preliminary round will be given the chance to host the three-in-a-row chasing All-Ireland champions.
"If Carlow win, it would be fair to them to play the game in Carlow like it would be fair to play it in Wexford if we win," the Monaghan man told the Irish Examiner.
"It's what Carlow would deserve, it's what Wexford would deserve and from a promotional perspective it would be huge for either county.
"To be fair to the Leinster Council, bringing Dublin to Nowlan Park this year worked very well and there was a lot of hype about it.
"If Carlow were to take them on their own patch or we were to win through and had the chance to face them at home it would be huge.
"At the moment, we only have one thought in our heads and that's Carlow."
