Slaughtneil assistant manager John Joe Kearney says they will need to curb the threat of Mark Bradley in order to avoid being inflicted with an upset by Killyclogher on Sunday.
The Ulster club SFC favourites take on the Tyrone champions at the Athletic Grounds (throw-in 2.30pm) and Kearney has suggested that the Derry side may well need to deploy a sweeper to cut out Bradley's threat.
"Every game's different. We had to deal with Derrygonnelly playing with everybody back and we got through that. We'll see how they set up," Kearney told The Irish News.
"They might not set up the same way on Sunday as they have in the past. But whatever way, we'll be going man-for-man anyway.
"That night (against Coalisland) young (Mark) Bradley was outstanding. He got off to a great start with his first score, outside of the foot from the left wing, and I think he maybe hit six from play after it, a couple on his right foot.
"He's not totally one-footed. He can't be afforded the room he was afforded that night or he'll destroy us. That was obviously how they set up to play, to keep the half-forward line back a bit that there was space for ball to be kicked in there.
"If Coalisland had played somebody in front of him, it would have made it more difficult, but that didn't happen."
