Pictured at the launch which took place at the offices of Hastings Insurance in Castlebar are current Irish Masters footballer Eamonn O Hara, GMA Chairman John Pat Sheridan from Mayo and Des Greene from Aware.

Former Sligo footballer Eamonn O'Hara admits that it was an honour to represent his country in the twilight of his career.

O'Hara was part of the Ireland International Rules squad that defeated Australia 2-0 in the series played over the course of the last week.

Acting as vice-captain to the side, O'Hara earned the Player of the Series award and he admitted to the Sligo Champion it was great to be out on the field again.
O'Hara along with David Durkin and Con O'Meara represented Sligo on the Ireland team.

"Obviously, it's an honour to represent your country at any stage. We're delighted with the win and it's great to have a strong Sligo presence in an Irish side," said O'Hara.

"The Australians brought great physicality, especially to the second test. While their problems with the round ball made it difficult for them, they competed fiercely throughout."
