For the second weekend in-a-row, a club is being forced to play a provincial championship game less than 24 hours after their county final replay went to extra-time.

Kilmore beat Oran by 2-16 to 1-11 in the Roscommon IFC final replay at Strokestown this afternoon, but will have to put their celebrations on hold as they are due to play Galway champions Monivea/Abbeyknockmoy in the Connacht club IFC quarter-final in Tuam Stadium at 1pm tomorrow.

A similar situation arose last weekend when Burt beat Milford after extra-time in the Donegal IFC final replay on Saturday before losing heavily to Bredagh of Down in the Ulster club IFC preliminary round on Sunday.

It's asking a lot of Kilmore to play again tomorrow after goals from Derek Connellan and Paul Garvey helped them to finally wear down Oran in extra-time after a last-gasp Garvey free had seen the sides finish level on 0-13 to 1-10 at the end of normal time.
