It's unlikely that there will be any female representation on the Limerick county board next year after Geraldine Neenan confirmed she is stepping down as assistant treasurer.
The Dromin-Athlacca club member had served four years in the role. Irish and Culture Office Micheal O Riain is also standing down under the five-year rule, but the outgoing chairman Oliver Mann, treasurer Donal Morrissey, PRO Eamonn Phelan and assistant secretary Seamus McNamara are all expected to seek re-election.
Nominations for the various positions must be submitted before next Tuesday, October 11.
