Cork's Orla Finn admits the score controversy in last Sunday's All-Ireland Ladies final did 'take away slightly' from their six-in-row celebrations.

The aftermath was shrouded in controversy after Dublin had a perfectly good 'point' waved wide by the umpires during the first-half.

"It did take away slightly from it but these things happen," corner-forward Finn explained to The Irish Daily Star.

"And I completely understand where Dublin are coming from - Hawk-Eye should be in place.

"But I think then again, if they did get that point in the first half, we still would have driven on and worked as hard, if not harder, to get back.

"We were up four points in the last minute and I don't think that we would have given away the penalty if we were only up three points.

"I actually don't remember the 'point' happening but I think the girls are just trying to get on with it and enjoy the victory rather than thinking about the 'point'."
