Tom Parsons replaces Barry Moran in the Mayo starting fifteen for Sunday's eagerly-awaited All-Ireland SFC final clash against Dublin at Croke Park.
In the only personnel change from the 2-13 to 0-14 semi-final victory over Tipperary last month, Stephen Rochford has chosen Charlestown clubman Parsons at midfield with Moran being the player to lose out in the reshuffle.
Parsons - who has been hampered by injuries in recent years - partners Seamus O'Shea in the middle after making an impressive impact off the bench in the victories over Tipp and Tyrone (quarter-final).
The versatile Donal Vaughan reverts to full-back but is expected to operate further out the field, meanwhile, the attack remains unchanged.
There are nine survivors from the county's last All-Ireland final appearance which was in 2013 versus the Dubs - goalkeeper David Clarke, defenders Brendan Harrison and Patrick Durcan, midfielder Parsons and forwards Diarmuid O'Connor and Jason Doherty are the fresh faces.
Mayo (SFC v Dublin): David Clarke; Brendan Harrison, Donal Vaughan, Keith Higgins; Lee Keegan, Colm Boyle, Patrick Durcan; Seamus O'Shea, Tom Parsons; Kevin McLoughlin, Aidan O'Shea, Diarmuid O'Connor; Jason Doherty, Andy Moran, Cillian O'Connor.
