Galway manager Tony Ward hopes that coming in under the radar in this evening's All-Ireland U21HC final against Waterford will suit his charges to spring a massive upset.
The Tribsemen are 9/2 underdogs to upset the Munster champions at Thurles, where Ward knows his team will need a colossal performance to try and halt the Deise men's charge towards a second All-Ireland title in the grade.
"We are coming in under the radar," he told the Irish Daily Mirror.
"Waterford, anybody over the country could list off their players, where I suppose Conor Whelan, Brian Molloy and you get stuck after that on our team, which is a good thing for our lads.
"Another good thing, we've had all the lads all year training, we'd three guys involved with the seniors. We were able to build up a squad and a bit of comradeship."
He added: "Nobody, even in Galway, could see us putting this one over, so if we happen to be lucky enough to get over the line it would be one of the best ones ever."
Throw-in at Semple Stadium is at 5pm.
