Galway midfielder David Burke says they must cut off the supply to Tipperary's inside men if the Tribesmen are to come out on top in Sunday's All-Ireland SHC semi-final.
Micheal Donoghue's men are bidding for a second consecutive All-Ireland final berth at the weekend and the St Thomas clubman knows that they can't afford to concede in the way that Tipp's previous opponents Waterford did in last month's Munster final.
"I suppose (Tipperary's) biggest platform is out the field, delivering in good ball into the inside-forward line," Burke told RTE Sport.
"So if we can prevent that from going in at all it should help the backs a small bit.
"They have serious forwards; we have good forwards as well that probably haven't played as well in the last couple of weeks so there should be big performances in some of our players the next day."
Throw-in for Sunday's game at Croke Park is at 3.30pm.
