Former Dublins star Alan Brogan has led the tributes to Colm McFadden after Donegal's record scorer revealed he is hanging up his inter-county boots.
33-year-old McFadden brought the curtain down on his 15 years in the county jersey following yesterday's 1-10 to 1-15 All-Ireland SFC quarter-final defeat at the hands of Dublin.
The St Michael's clubman accumulated an impressive 25-434 during his 170 appearances on the inter-county stage and his medal collection includes All-Ireland SFC, All-Star, NFL and Ulster SFC honours.
Always enjoyed watching Colm McFadden..he was top class. Not easy tonight but he deserves the plaudits for what he gave to Donegal.
