Master McGrath was a famous Waterford greyhound, but Tipperary have their own Master McGrath in John who shot down the Deise in yesterday's Munster SHC final.
The young corner forward helped himself to 3-2 as the Premier romped to a 5-19 to 0-13 victory.
"I assume John McGrath will be there or thereabouts for man of the match," Tipp manager Michael Ryan said.
"We had John in the set-up last year and he's just a great talent and I think there's great work ethic to this team and they're absolutely fully committed to the cause.
"I think there's no need to be too hard on a guy like John McGrath. His big brother Noel has been there, done that and seen it all. To see a McGrath being at the business end of a lot of our scores isn't a shock.
"He's a very grounded young fella, but it won't do going forward. We have to find another level and another gear.
"All of these amateur players that we have in the GAA family are giving and giving and they're super guys and deserve an awful lot of credit and I'd say the very same about the Waterford guys.
"They are at the wrong end of a defeat here today. Do remember, and I'd say that to everybody, the effort that everybody makes."
