Revenge not on Harte's mind

Peter Harte insists Tyrone won't be motivated by revenge when they face Donegal in the Ulster SFC final in a fortnight's time.

Donegal have come out on top in the last four championship meetings between the sides, but Harte says Tyrone are only focused on winning their first Anglo-Celt Cup in six years.

"I'm sure it will be built up like that [revenge mission], but we are just looking to win the 2016 Ulster championship," Harre told the Irish News.

"That's all we can do and that is what we are fully focused on. A lot of the boys haven't got an Ulster senior medal and that is the next target."

Harte bagged two goals as the Red Hands turned on the style to crush Cavan by 5-18 to 2-17 in yesterday's Ulster SFC semi-final replay.

"That was the one thing that a lot of people said last year, that we don't get enough goals. And certainly when you get them they are a great lift psychologically as well as obviously on the scoreboard.

"It was nice to get a couple, but as I said earlier, if we concede the same in the final it will be lights out."
