Wexford hurlers have been dealt a double blow ahead of their All-Ireland SHC qualifier on July 2nd.
The Model County must plan without defender Liam Ryan and forward Shane Tomkins who both have been ruled out of the game.
Ryan broke his thumb in a club match, while Tomkins damaged his cruciate knee ligament and has been ruled out for the year.
It means that the duo join long term injury victims David Redmond, Andrew Shore and Shaun Murphy on the treatment table.
And Wexford manager Liam Dunne is hoping that no one else will get injured in the run up to the qualifiers.
"Lee (Chin) is about 80% at the moment while both Aidan Nolan and James Breen have resumed light training. Hopefully, they will be available.
"Conor (McDonald) is having an MRI scan on his knee at Santry Sports Clinic. We are keeping our fingers crossed that the injury is not serious."
