Westmeath manager Tom Cribbin is confident that his side can see off the challenge of neighbours Offaly in Sunday's Leinster SFC clash at Cusack Park.

Despite being relegated to Division Four and having a number of players subsequently drop off the panel, Cribbin is adamant that they can progress to the Leinster semi-final.

Speaking to the Westmeath Examiner, he said that the players that remain are all in good form ahead of the game against Offaly.

Paul Greville, Shane Dempsey and Ray Connellan are not part of the panel for various reasons, but Cribbin believes they have the players to progress.

"The mood in the camp is good and everybody else is fit and raring to go - they can't wait to get going," said Cribbin.
