Armagh's Ciaran McKeever says they are determined to make amends for their poor league showing in this year's Ulster SFC.

The Orchard County travel to Kingspan Breffni Park for a quarter-final clash against Cavan tomorrow with a 17 point round four league defeat at the hands of the Breffni County still fresh in the memory.

Kieran McGeeney's charges were subsequently relegated to Division 3 but McKeever has a word of warning for tomorrow's opponents.

"We did not maybe apply ourselves right in the first-half of the league but I assure you that we will be going flat out from the start tomorrow," he said to The Belfast Telegraph.

"We have to hold our hands up and admit in the league game against Cavan we weren't at the races. It will be different tomorrow. Our in-house matches lately have been more intense and competitive and this has helped to make the squad stronger.

"The boys have been pushing each other on in the quest for starting jerseys match and it's up to us as a unit to hit form."
