Daniel Kearney has denied rumours that he has quit the Cork panel after Sunday's Munster SHC quarter-final defeat to Tipperary at Semple Stadium.
The midfielder was the first player to be subbed as the Rebels crashed out of the provincial race at the hands of holders Tipp on a 0-22 to 0-13 scoreline in Thurles.
Kearney, who is set to line out for his club Sarsfields against Carrigtwohill this weekend in the opening round of the Cork SHC, tweeted the following this evening:
Just to clarify, I have not left the Cork hurling panel, and the recent rumours that would say otherwise are totally false and have no basis
