Brendan Murtagh returns to the Westmeath starting fifteen for tomorrow's Leinster SHC round-robin second round clash against Kerry at Austin Stack Park.

The former Lake County captain replaces Darragh Egerton in the full-forward line in the only change to the side that recorded a stunning victory over Offaly on Sunday.

Murtagh was introduced as a substitute for his Clonkill clubman Egerton during the closing stages of last weekend's 14-point opening round success in Mullingar.

Michael Ryan's charges will travel to Tralee in confidence after marking their first provincial championship win over their midland neighbours in 40 years.

Westmeath (SHC v Kerry): Paddy Maloney; Shane Power, Tommy Doyle, Tommy Gallagher; Aaron Craig, Gary Greville, Aonghus Clarke; Cormac Boyle, Eoin Price; Alan Devine, Derek McNicholas, Robbie Greville; Liam Varley, Brendan Murtagh, Niall O'Brien.

Subs: Shane McGovern, Alan McGrath, Kieran Duncan, Darragh Egerton, Jack Galvin, Conor Shaw, Killian Doyle, Mick Heeney, Darragh Clinton, Warren Casserly, Niall Mitchell.
