Team news: Mayo side to play Armagh announced

Mayo Senior Hurling Manager JP Coen has announced the team to face Armagh in Round 2A of the Nicky Rackard Cup in Ballina tomorrow (Saturday) afternoon.

Armagh, who won the Allianz League Division 2B earlier this season will provide a very stern test for Coen's team who are without the services of the suspended Gary Nolan and the injured Michael Morley, both Tooreen.

Gerard McManus takes the full back position after missing the victory over Tyrone due to club commitments, while Darren McTigue and Kieran McDermott are also added to the starting 15. Keith Higgins retains his position at centre forward. Victory over Armagh will put Mayo in the Nicky Rackard semi-final on May 21st whilst defeat will mean a place in the quarter final next weekend.
