Team news: Tipp minors begin campaign

The Tipperary starting team named to face Waterford in tomorrow's Munster MHC play-off shows three survivors from the one for last year's All-Ireland final.

Brian McGrath (full-back), Cian Darcy (full-forward) and Lyndon Fairbrother (left corner-forward) are the only players that started the 2015 All-Ireland decider defeat to Galway included by manager Liam Cahill.

McGrath, a younger brother of county senior stars Noel and John will skipper the side for the trip to Walsh Park in the absence of team-captain Gavin Ryan, who is sidelined with an injury.

Tipperary (MHC v Waterford): Ciaran Barrett; Cillian O'Dwyer, Brian McGrath, Jerome Cahill; Gavin Dunne, Michael Whelan, Tom Murphy; Bryan O'Mara, Jake Morris; Ger Browne, Dillion Quirke, Mark Kehoe; Shane Neville, Cian Darcy, Lyndon Fairbrother.
