Cavan are in 'bonus' territory, according to manager Terry Hyland, ahead of their Allianz FL Division 2 final showdown against Tyrone this Sunday.
Speaking at the finals preview in Croke Park today, the Breffni boss stated: "Tyrone are always difficult opponents but, look it, we faced them earlier in the year and there was only a couple of points in it.
"Hopefully, it'll be a good, close game again this weekend.
"We're happy to be promoted to Division 1 of the Allianz Leagues going forward and we have the bonus of playing in a final against Tyrone who have been good, strong rivals to Cavan in the last 10 years.
"They have always been close games, I don't think there has been an awful lot in it and we are looking forward to the weekend."
The return of Seanie Johnston has boosted Cavan's scoring threat but the corner-forward faces a race against time to prove his fitness for this weekend's clash.
"Hopefully, he'll be fit to take part here on Sunday, he picked up a hamstring injury and he's only on his way back.
"He has played a major part in getting us here, so have all the other players. We don't really like to single out anybody in particular."
