A money-spinning jersey deal is to be discussed at a meeting of the Dublin County Board on Monday night.

SunSport are reporting that the All-Ireland football champions are on the verge on signing a lucrative deal with a continental kit manufacturer.

In what would be a major blow to O'Neill's practical monopoly of the GAA kit market, the report states a 'whopping six-figure sum' is on the table if the Dubs decide to ditch the Strabane headquartered company.

Under GAA rules, any jerseys worn by teams are to be manufactured in Ireland but current EU legislation could be exploited by the powers-that-be in Dublin GAA.

No members of the Dublin County Board were available for comment when contacted by SunSport last night.
