2015 Footballer of the Year Jack McCaffrey is going all-out to add a Sigerson Cup medal to his collection after leading UCD into next week's semi-finals.

The Dublin defender described the 3-11 to 1-9 defeat of UCC in Cork as "unreal" but added that "we didn't set our stall out (just) to get to the weekend".

UCD will take on the University of Limerick in the last four, after the latter's last four shock win over Queen's University, and McCaffrey hopes to lift the famous trophy with a little bit of help from his friends.

"Playing alongside your closest friends at college. If that's not motivation enough, I don't know what will be" said the Dubliner.
