Clare full back Kevin Harnett believes that they have to make the most of their home matches in the Division 3 league campaign.

The Banner opened their campaign with a good win over Sligo last Sunday and they face Tipperary away this weekend.

However, Harnett told the Clare Champion that if they can win all their home games and pick up a few points on the road, they will be in the shake up for promotion.

"You want to be playing winning football at home and you don't want to concede anything. We have two points now and Tipperary on Sunday," said Harnett.

Tipperary could only manage a draw against Limerick last Sunday and they will be gunning for all two points when Clare visit this weekend.
