Kevin Feely will make his first competitive start for Kildare in their FL Division 3 clash with neighbours Offaly in Newbridge.

Athy man Feely, who only returned to gaelic football last year after a stint with professional soccer in England, is picked at midfield as manager Cian O'Neill makes four changes from the opening round win over Westmeath.

Wing-backs Ryan Houlihan (Moorefield) and Cian O'Donoghue (Clane) also come in for their full league debuts while 2015 captain Eamonn Callaghan is selected at full forward. Ciaran Fitzpatrick, Johnny Byrne, Daryl Flynn and Eoghan O'Flaherty lose out.

Kildare (NFL v Offaly): Mark Donnellan; Peter Kelly, David Hyland, Ollie Lyons; Ryan Houlihan, Fergal Conway, Cian O'Donoghue; Daniel Flynn, Kevin Feely; Adam Tyrrell, Niall Kelly, Paul Cribbin; Neil Flynn, Eamonn Callaghan, Cathal McNally.
