Tyrone have cut two players from their squad ahead of the start of the national football league.

Manager Mickey Harte has informed Harry Óg Conlon (Edendork) and Dungannon's Patrick Quinn that they will not be involved in the league from the start but that their form at club level will be monitored.

Both players started Saturday night's McKenna Cup final victory over neighbours Derry.

The Red Hands host Ulster rivals Cavan in their Division Two opener this Sunday.
