Ten matches took place tonight including the third and final round of the McKenna Cup.

Six games threw in simultaneously - at Celtic Park, Healy Park, Breffni Park, the Athletic Grounds, Brewster Park and Pairc Esler - as the semi-final line-up was determined in Ulster's subsidiary competition

Meanwhile, in hurling, there was action in both the Walsh Cup and Munster senior hurling league - with All-Ireland champions Kilkenny, Galway, Cork, Waterford and Clare all on duty!
