Donnelly chosen as Ulster captain

Eoin Donnelly will skipper Ulster in next Saturday's Inter-provincial football semi-final against Connacht.

Gaelic Life is reporting that the Fermanagh captain will fulfil the same role for his province after being appointed by Erne County and Ulster manager Pete McGrath.

The two inter-provincial semi-finals will be played at the Athletic Grounds and Pairc Esler respectively on Sunday, with the Athletic Grounds also hosting the final on Sunday (2.30pm).

Pearse Stadium in Galway will also stage the two Inter-provincial hurling semi-finals and final next weekend.
