The Leitrim senior football management team have received good and bad news over player availability for next year's squad.

Already returning to the squad is former captain Emlyn Mulligan who has returned to training with the panel in preparation for the coming year.

Mulligan will be joined by Glencar/Manorhamilton duo Paddy Maguire and Adrian Croal who also return having missed the 2015 campaign.

Maguire had been working abroad all year, while Croal has not played with the county for some time, but he showed outstanding form in this year's club championship.

However, the news of the trio's return has been offset by the news that up to four players may not be part of the squad next year.

Fergal Clancy, Paddy McGowan, Darren Sweeney and Cathal McCrann all featured in the 2015 championship, but speculation is growing that none of the four are committing to the 2016 campaign.
