Crossmaglen joint-manager Oisin McConville is delighted to have Jamie Clarke back on board ahead of Sunday's Ulster club SFC semi-final against Kilcoo.
The star forward has returned to the squad following an extended break in the US, though McConville admits he has a long way to go to regain match fitness.
"It's good to have him back obviously, but he is still very rusty as it's four or five months since he has played any ball," he noted in the Irish Daily Star.
"It's still great to have all the players who are available to us."
McConville feels the bitter rivalry which has developed between the clubs since Crossmaglen's Aaron Cunningham was allegedly racially abused in the 2012 Ulster final will ensure motivation isn't an issue for either team.
"Having a rivalry is not necessarily a bad thing," he said.
"It is a rivalry, but it's a rivarly that's been built up over three games basically. It's not something that's been going on for years and years, it's a short-term thing. There's a bit of history there, but it counts for nothing because we still have to go out and find the best possible way to win a game of football."
