Joe Brolly is among the favourites to be the next president of Ireland.
The controversial RTÉ pundit has seen his odds slashed from 16/1 to 10/1 following a flurry of betting at BoyleSports bookmakers across the country on him to take up residence in Áras An Uachtaráin in 2018.
RTÉ current affairs presenter Miriam O'Callaghan remains the favourite to succeed Michael D Higgins at 9/2, with MEP Mairead McGuinness (11/2), Barnardo's chief executive Fergus Finlay (7/1) and former European Parliament president Pat Cox (8/1) next in the betting.
Taoiseach Enda Kenny is priced at 33/1.
