The GPA has fielded complaints from a number of players featured in the documentary, 'All-Ireland Day', which was broadcast on Monday night.

The Irish Daily Star reports that Dublin and Kerry players were not aware that referee David Coldrick was mic'd up and that his interaction with players would be aired in the programme.

The GPA has lodged their concerns with Croke Park and spokesperson Sean Potts said: "This shows a fundamental lack of consideration for the players.

"Someone dropped the ball somewhere along the way. Both squads should have been made aware of this.

"We have to represent the concerns of our members. We expect them to be warriors and to fight it out and that's why we love sport at the highest level.

"They are amateur players. They are not contracted to do anything like this. Players shouldn't be subjected to this.

"We are very supportive of this type of production. It's very worthwhile, but it shows an alarming lack of respect and to so without the permission of players, we would be very concerned."

GAA officials and documentary maker, Loosehorse Productions, were unavailable for comment.
