New Derry football manager Damian Barton is wasting no time in preparing for 2016.

The 1993 All-Ireland winner, who was only appointed a fortnight ago, held his first trials in Owenbeg last Saturday. Further trials will take place tomorrow at 12pm. Players from the first trials will return and will be joined by those who were unable to attend last Saturday.

All clubs can nominate a maximum of four senior players who did not represent Derry during this year's Allianz League and Championship campaigns.
