Last Sunday is a day that former Sligo star Dessie Sloyan won't forget in a hurry.
The 39-year-old started at full-forward in Easkey's IFC final success over Castleconnor while his 17-year-old son Dylan featured as a substitute in Markievicz Park.
Easkey will be playing senior football in 2016 after sending five second-half goals past their west Sligo neighbours to run out 6-9 to 2-9 winners.
Dessie contributed 1-3 to his side's winning tally.
