Charlie McGeever believes 'adrenaline' is driving Tipperary's All-Ireland minor double bid.

McGeever saw his minor football charges join their hurling counterparts in the All-Ireland final after yesterday's 0-11 to 0-9 victory over Leinster champions Kildare at Croke Park.

Tipp will now have the opportunity to avenge their Munster final defeat to Kerry on September 20, but for their eight dual players, there is the small matter of an All-Ireland minor hurling final against Galway to occupy their minds before then.

"We're the only team in both finals. I feel the adrenaline from today will carry through again to next weekend because they're young lads and they're on a roll. I would hope they'll win next weekend," the Donegal native said.

"Kerry are the benchmark. They're champions and Jack O'Connor, a legendary manager with them. But look, we have the opportunity, that's all we wanted and now we have it.

"We'll relish that opportunity because we didn't perform in Killarney in the Munster final. Neither the management nor the players performed, but we now have the experience of winning a big game in Croke Park and we feel we've learned an awful lot of lessons."
