Donegal are well on their way to filling the vacant minor and under-21 football manager's roles.

Interviews for the minor position being vacated by Declan Bonner took place last Tuesday night with St Naul's Brian McCabe and Milford's Shaun Paul Barrett both up for the role.

The interviews for the under-21 position will take place tonight (Friday) and there are four candidates to fill the role vacated by Maxi Curran at the end of this year's championship.

Outgoing minor manager Declan Bonner is the favourite to take on the role, but he faces competition from Shaun Paul Barrett, Naomh Columba's Paddy J McGinley and Glenswilly's John McGinley.

County chairman Sean Dunnion, secretary Aideen Gillen, treasurer Ciaran Kelly, Donegal Ladies manager Davy McLaughlin and Convoy chairman Conor McDermott make up the interview panel.
