Stevie McDonnell has stepped down from his role as Armagh U21 football manager.

The 2002 All-Ireland winning corner forward spent two years in charge, but has decided not to seek another term after taking charge of his club Killeavy earlier this year.

A statement from Armagh GAA read: "Armagh County Board announce that Stevie McDonnell has tendered his resignation as U21 football manager.  Stevie advised the county management committee that he wished to devote more time to club commitments.

"Armagh County Board acknowledge the dedication and diligence of Stevie, his management and backroom team, thank them for their contribution to Armagh and wish them well in the future."
