John Leahy has stepped down as manager of the Tipperary ladies football team.
Local radio station Tipp FM is reporting that the Tipperary and Mullinahone hurling icon, along with his assistants Martin Halpin and Pat Morrissey, have resigned due to work commitments.
Leahy, who won three All-Ireland hurling medals and also won a McGrath Cup medal with the Tipperary footballers, had spent two years in charge of the ladies footballers.
