McCurry wouldn't have wanted to be in a hurry

Darren McCurry was kept waiting by the drug testers after his man of the match performance for Tyrone against Sligo at Croke Park on Saturday.

The corner forward, who scored 0-8 in Tyrone's 0-21 to 0-14 victory, was selected to give a drug sample after the game but, according to the Irish Daily Star, was still waiting - in his playing gear - after the second All-Ireland Round 4B qualifier between Donegal and Galway had ended at about 7.30pm.

We're all for keeping our games clean, but surely delays like this aren't acceptable in an amateur sport?
