Mickey Harte says Tyrone will need to start scoring more if they're to stay in the championship.

The Red Hands only managed 11 scores - three in the first half - in last Saturday's win over Meath. At the same time, Tipperary - who they face in Thurles tomorrow - were racking up 3-21 against Louth.

"We need to improve on our finishing," the Tyrone manager admitted to the Irish News.

"It goes without saying that if you only get three points in 35 minutes, then your finishing is maybe not good enough.

"I suppose that's maybe to do with decision-making, getting the ball to the right people to attempt to finish shots. Maybe (we need) to put a wee bit more variety into our play than we had in the first 35, 40 minutes of that game."
