Bench role doesn't bother Bradley

Mark Bradley is happy to help the Tyrone footballers any way he can, even if it means being kept in reserve as an impact sub.

The All-Ireland U21 winner made a telling contribution after coming off the bench in the 32nd minute against Limerick on Sunday but won't be demanding a starting brief against Meath.

"I'm just looking to help the team any way at all. Like, there's such competition for places, and if you can do anything to help the team at all, it's a positive," the Killyclogher clubman told The Irish Independent. "If it's off the bench or starting, it doesn't matter. As long as we win, that's the main thing.

"It was great to get a chance. Any time you get a chance to run out for Tyrone is a dream come true, and it's only happened twice this year. Any chance you get, you have to take it; there's 15 other boys dying to get a chance as well, so there's big competition for places.

"I was just trying to get on the ball, get my first touch and get a big of confidence going first. You do be nervous coming on straight away, especially in such a big game, and when it was so tight, you don't want to do anything wrong."
