Callum McCormack has been ruled out of Westmeath's Leinster SFC semi-final against Meath on Sunday.

The Maryland forward has failed to recover from the hamstring injury that forced him to miss the quarter-final win over Wexford, with Ronan Foley having deputised in his absence. It remains to be seen if Foley - a nephew of former Meath wing back Kevin - will retain his place or if the management will decide to move team captain Ger Egan from midfield to attack.

The long-serving Denis Glennon could also be in contention for a starting place after recovering from a fractured hand. The Tyrrellspass clubman scored two points and also had a hand in Kieran Martin's goal following his introduction against Wexford.
